FENN Richard John Percy

Known information

Richard John Percy Fenn was the elder of the two sons of Richard Fenn of Ryhall killed in the First World War and who have no known grave. He was born in Ryhall on 15 May1896 and joined the 8th Battalion Lincolnshire Regiment on 21 October 1914. He went to France on 28 November 1916. Like his brother, Thomas Henry Fenn, the circumstances of his death are unknown and he was simply reported missing on 20 April. With no known grave, Richard is remembered on the Arras Memorial, Bay 3 and 4, and on the memorial in Ryhall church.
