COLEMAN William Cecil

Known information

William Coleman was the only child of Charles and Minnie Coleman of 23 West Road, Oakham. He was born in Oakham in the summer of 1899. He joined the 1st/4th Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers and died on 2 May 1918. He is remembered on the Soissons Memorial but is not on Oakham's war memorial.

Rutland and The Battle of the Somme
